This week year 5 visited into university for a focus day on studying Zoology at university. The classes were split into teams and were set different challenges toearn points.
The children investigated food chains and the importance of different animals. the importance of animals camouflaging in the wild and why animals rely on camouflage for survival. In the afternoon they had a visit from Zoolab and they were able to look at different animals such as an African snail, tarantula and Terry the snake.
By the end of the session year 5 were able to explain all the different components that are required to become a Zoologist.
