On the 18th of March, as part of our Earth Day celebration, our year 4 students took part in an international climate conference with the children from Vega Schools, from India on the topic of ‘Climate change and ways to look after our planet’.
On the 19th of April our school celebrated Earth Day and on this occasion, children took part in various activities related to this topic. Children exchanged ideas about how they can make a difference for our planet, the importance of recycling and reducing litter and saving energy.
The aim of this exchange was to raise awareness of the importance of environmental protection, to learn about recycling and explore how we can reduce waste in our local area and to spark a passion in students that will drive them to do their part to take care of the Earth.
